YVONNE ALVERIO


Yvonne has been associated with The Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group
since 1996 and currently serves as a Senior Consultant. Yvonne has more
than twenty years of experience in human resource management in
government, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector, and has
conducted numerous diversity trainings and teambuilding sessions, both in
English and in Spanish, and in the U.S. and South America. She specializes in
employee relations, affirmative action, and workforce diversity.

Yvonne is regarded as a diversity champion by clients and respected for her
work in raising people’s self-awareness of their role and responsibilities as
leaders in their own organizations. Her energy and passion for transforming
client systems motivate and guide organizations in developing their own
infrastructure to support change and developing business plans that
include a focus on leveraging diversity and building inclusion.

Prior to working with KJCG, Yvonne served as Aetna’s first Director of
Workforce Diversity. She was responsible for integrating diversity issues
with key business goals and bottom-line objectives. She has also served as
Corporate Manager of Diversity for Lotus Development Corp., where she
was responsible for the development, design, and implementation of their
diversity initiatives. Yvonne has been a Human Resources and Affirmative
Action Manager for Wang Laboratories and Minority/Women Business
Enterprise Program Manager for the Environmental Protection Agency.

She served for twenty-seven years in the Connecticut National Guard in
numerous positions, including Intelligence Analyst, Interpreter, and Equal
Opportunity Advisor.
