Our Beliefs

The Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group, Inc.'s (KJCG) ability to co-create culture change strategies for higher operational performance that are aligned with each client’s mission and vision sets us apart. Three of KJCG's core beliefs guide us in our work:

You Cannot Give What You Do Not Get—Why KJCG sees People as Critical

Our work is rooted in the belief that organizations can only be successful to the degree that the people within them are able to do their best work. Our experience tells us that success—and higher operational performance—is more attainable when people feel included in and important to the work and success of their organizations, when they are clear about expectations and roles, and when they have the tools, training, and support to do their best work.

Joining Needs to Happen in Both Directions

In many organizations, there is a disconnect between leaders and the work force. To achieve higher operational performance, there must be a strong connection from the front line to leaders at all levels. But that connection needs to happen in both directions. Leaders need to be willing to join their work forces, and work forces need to join their leaders.

Focus on the Keepers

Many organizations spend a great deal of energy on a small percentage of people who are chronically disengaged and under-performing. We believe there is tremendous advantage to be gained by focusing more energy on the "keepers"—people who are high performing, have high potential, and are engaged and "leaning in" to the organization. We assist organizations to identify these "stars"; to elevate these high performers so that they can connect with leaders and influence others in building critical mass in support of higher organizational performance.

Our Approach

The strategies we use represent a proven methodology for organizational change that our consulting firm has used and evolved since 1970. It is designed to adjust to the different environments and needs of each of our clients and to adapt to a changing marketplace and world.

That is why our methodology isn’t boilerplate. Rather, it provides tools for identifying actions and leveraged strategies that enable our clients to address organizational opportunities and challenges in ways that will lead to sustainable success.
